J.S. Helwig & Son is hiring CDL A OTR Reefer Drivers in Dallas, TX. As a top refrigerated transport company in the United States, J.S. Compensation

• 55 CPM starting pay with raises during first year
  • 1 CPM raise at 6 months
  • 60 CPM after 1 year
  • Annual raises up to 65CPM
  • 2,800+ miles weekly
• Additional pay: 
  • Extra stop pay $20 each stop, not to include the first and last (80% of loads are one pick up one delivery)
  • Layover $100 per 24-hour period
  • Detention: $15 after 2 hours from on time arrival
  • NYC Pay: NYC is no force dispatch, will pay additional $75 for NYC loads
• Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route & Schedule

• Home Time: Out 21 days home 3 days
  • 1 additional day off for each week out beyond 3 weeks, max of 7 consecutive days off
• Route: OTR. Typically runs west Texas and western Kansas to the NE, SE and Midwest
• 100% no touch freight

• Trucks 3 years old or newer Freightliner Cascadia’s,
• 1,800-watt inverters for your ac accessories
• All with APUs and refrigerators
• All trucks equipped with Qualcomm units
• 100% E-Logs
• Governed Speed: 68 MPH
• Automatic Transmission

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have CDL A license
• Must have a minimum of 6 months verifiable OTR tractor-trailer driving experience within the last 3 year
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
• 0 driving suspensions or recovations in last 2 years
• No more than 1 DUI and can not be within last 10 years
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 100 miles of Dallas, TX
