Glad of our Straight Truck
The driveway was surprisingly long back to the docks as it wound around the back of the casino and almost to the other side.? As I drove around one corner another small delivery truck was coming out and I thought our mirrors were going to rub.? Once I saw the docks I thought, crap, I am going to have to back out of this mess and start over. After a three-point turn I was able to squeeze by a pickup that was parked in the way and get into one of the two docks.? If in a tractor-trailer there was only one dock would work to be able to back straight into. Even with a team and one person on the ground guiding the driver this would have been a tough delivery but I know that the tractor-trailer drivers we know would have got it done with no damage to the property or their vehicles.? Still, I was sure glad we were in our straight truck. ?
What in the world were they thinking when they built this very beautiful and large casino?
