CDL A Regional Flatbed Drivers in AR, TN, KY, MO, MS, AL

Modular Transportation is hiring CDL A Regional Flatbed Drivers in AR, TN, KY, MO, North MS, North AL for their West Memphis, AR hub. Drivers will be hauling mainly steel freight like coils, tube, sheets and bar stock on flatbed trailers. Compensation

• Average weekly pay: $1,200 to $1,600 
  • % of load pay
• Additional pay:
  • Detention pay
  • Deadhead pay
• Bonuses:
  • Flatbed driver referral program: Up to $3,000
  • Clean DOT inspection bonus: Up to $200
  • Monthly bonus based on truck revenue

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home Time: Home weekends! 
• Schedule: Leave Sunday or Monday and home Friday
• Route: Regional routes primarily within a 500-600 mile radius of Memphis
• Level of Touch: Drivers must secure loads which may involve tarping, strapping, chaining

Equipment

• Late Model Mack & Freightliner Trucks
• Primarily automatic transmission with some manual transmission available
• Governed speed: 69 mph
• ELD equipped using Samsara system
• Onboard safety features including lane departure, cameras, etc.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years of age  
• Must have CDL A license issued from state in which driver resides
• Must have a minimum of 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience within the past 3 years 
• Must be able to lift up to 110 lbs and be able to squat, crouch, and reach as needed to handle freight
• No DUI, no positive or refusal of drug or alcohol test in the past 5 years
• Must have a stable work history
• No cell phone use or reckless driving or 15 mph or greater violations in the last 3 years
• No major chargeable accidents in the past 3 years while driving a commercial motor vehicle
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations 
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen 
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live in AR, TN, KY, MO, North MS, North AL
